The P&I Club’s new Singapore office is its second in Asia, and fifth internationally since it opened its first overseas office in Piraeus, Greece in 1980.

“Singapore is widely recognised as one of the most important maritime hubs in the world and the opening of this new office is an important step for The Swedish Club,” Brian Png, Team Manager for the Singapore office.

The new office in Singapore is seen as complimenting the club’s existing Asia presence in Hong Kong.

Png added, “Our membership in Singapore has grown significantly over past years, and a base in Singapore means that we are more accessible to our members, prospects and business partners, and are able to offer support face to face.”

The club sees further opportunity for expansion in the region.
