Anji expands fleet adding seven new PCTCs

Chinese automobile logistics service provider Anji Logistics has placed orders at two domestic yards, CSSC Jiangnan Shipyard and Jinling Shipyard, for the construction of seven car carriers.

Anji ordered three methanol-ready 9,000 ceu PCTCs from Jiangnan Shipyard, which is the third batch of car carrier orders Anji has inked with Jiangnan Shipyard. In addition, Anji has ordered four of the same type of 9,000 ceu car carrier at China Merchants Industry Jinling Shipyard, which has already delivered three car carriers for Anji. 

All the seven vessels are developed by SDARI, with a length of 228 m and a width of 37.8 m, and will be classified by DNV and CCS. 

In the first quarter, China exported 1.069 m units of automobiles and was the top car exporter globally.
