Chellship orders two bulk carriers from New Dayang Shipbuilding

SUMEC, New Dayang Shipbuilding and Hong Kong-based Chellaram Shipping (Chellship) have entered into contract for the construction of two 62.000 dwt bulk carriers.

The CROWN63PLUS design bulk carrier is the core vessel product constructed by New Dayang Shipbuilding. The company has 33 orders on hand for this type of vessel with the addition of the new deal. 

Chellship used to build vessels at Japanese yards, which recently started cooperation with Chinese yards for more bulk carrier options.
