China Navigation orders four handysizes at Chengxi Shipyard

China Navigation Co has placed an order for four handysize bulk carriers at Chengxi Shipyard in China.

China Navigation, the shipping arm of Swire Group, now has 16 of the 39,000-dwt B Delta37 design handysize bulkers on order at the Chinese shipyard.

Chengxi Shipyard is scheduled to deliver the newbuildings in 2016. Financial details of the shipbuilding deal were not disclosed.

China Navigation said the handysizes will be deployed within its dry bulk division, Swire Bulk.
