CITIC Financial Leasing adds five bulk carriers at DSIC

The Chinese financial leasing company CITIC Financial Leasing has placed an order from Dalian Shipbuilding Industry (DSIC) for the construction of five 65,000 dwt bulk carriers newbuildings.

Measuring in 209.95 metres length and 34.8 metres breadth, the bulkers inlcude energy saving features and will provide services for domestic energy transportation.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery during 2024 and 2025.

In March this year, CITIC Financial Leasing ordered 10 bulk carriers from DSIC.
