CSSC appoints new chairman Wen Gang

China’s largest shipbuilding company, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has announced that Wen Gang become the new chairman of the group.

The position has been open since the former chairman Lei Fanpei left his post in August 2022.

Prior to joining CSSC, Wen was the chairman of China Rongtong Asset Management Group Corporation, a wholly state-owned commercial company. Before that, Wen held position in China North Industries Group and North Chemical Industries.
