CSSC Marine Power secures 26 engine and generator contracts

CSSC Marine Power has inked contracts for the production of four engines and 24 generator sets with CSSC logistics service company.

The contract includes four CMD-WinGD 11X92B engines and 20 sets of CMP-MAN 9L32/40 generators, which will be installed on 23,000 teu containerships being built by CSSC Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding and Jiangnan Shipyard. The ships will be delivered to Evergreen Marine.

In November 2019, Evergreen ordered two 23,000 teu container ships at Hudong-Zhonghua and Jiangnan respectively, which was the first shipbuilding order for ultra-large sized containerships that Evergreen had signed with mainland shipyards.

CSSC Marine Power Co., Ltd. (CMP) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), featuring on producing marine engines, alternator and electrical systems.
