Epic Gas orders two LPG carriers at Sasaki Shipbuilding

Epic Gas has added to its newbuilding orderbook with two 7,500 cu m LPG carriers at Sasaki Shipbuilding in Japan.

The two vessels are due to be delivered in the first half of 2016, the price of the ships was not disclosed.

It brings the number of newbuildings contracted by Epic to 13 with deliveries through 2014 to 2017. The Singapore-headquartered company controls a fleet of 42 vessels.
