CSSC Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding received its first shipbuilding order in 2022 from CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping for the construction of one 174,000 cu m LNG carrier.

It is one of the last vessels from the LNG transportation project that Hudong Zhonghua and CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping had been working on, which totally consists of four LNG carriers. Among which two have been delivered, one is under construction. 

So far Hudong Zhonghua had delivered 30 large-size LNG carriers, and made outstanding achievements on the construction of LNG bunker vessel, FSRU, FLNG and LNG dual-fuel system renovation. 

On 4 January, Hudong Zhonghua delivered the 15,000 teu containership CMA CGM Apollon to CMA CGM. It is the fourth of the five large size containerships that CMA CGM ordered at CSSC’s shipyards, and is also the first ship delivered by the shipyard in the new year.
