The Japanese shipbuilding group closed the Ariake yard on 30 July following an outbreak of the coronavirus among workers at the yard.
JMU re-opened the yard on 17 August with the outbreak brought under control and just three new infections since 7 August. The shipyard had 112 workers test positive for Covid-19 by 12 August.
The yard has started operations again with a strengthening of protection measures and improved ventilation of working areas.
The shipbuilder apologised for the inconvenience it caused to local residents and government.
