JOVO orders LPG carrier from Jiangnan Shipyard

Chinese private company JOVO Group has ordered an LPG carrier from CSSC Jiangnan Shipyard with a contract value of $78.88m.

The 93,000 cu m LPG carrier is scheduled for delivery before 15 January 2024.

LPG is one of the main products of JOVO and the company is aiming to stabilize LPG supply via the operation of self-owned vessel and reduce dependence on leasing ship.

JOVO started its business from LPG trading, and then expanded to clean energy field, covering the whole industry chain including international purchase, storage, logistics and sale.
