Speaking with Seatrade Maritime News Editor Marcus Hand ahead of Sea Japan, being held in Tokyo from 20 – 22 April, James provides a quickfire summary of the state of containers, LNG, tanker and dry bulk markets.

James then drills into the newbuilding orderbook and it’s spread across the three big shipbuilding nations of China, Korea and Japan.

Later in the episode Marcus and James discuss the prospects for the three nations shipbuilding industries with a particular focus on Japan exploring the shift to alterative fuels and new ship types such as carbon carriers and vessels to support the offshore wind sector.
