Reederei Nord orders up to four boxships at Huangpu-Wenchong

The German owner Reederei Nord has inked a contract for two plus two 1,900 teu containerships from CSSC Huangpu-Wenchong Shipbuilding.

The boxship design is independently developed by Huangpu-Wenchong, featuring large container capacity, low fuel consumption and high heavy container loading rate.

Huangpu-Wenchong is the leading shipyard in feeder containership market, which has delivered over 200 feeder boxships for clients all around the world. 

The German shipowner has previously built to 2,500 teu containerships at Huangpu-Wenchong
