Taiwan Navigation books two new bulkers at Namura Shipbuilding

Taiwan Navigation has placed an order for two new 80,000-dwt bulk carriers at Japan’s Namura Shipbuilding.

Taipei-listed Taiwan Navigation announced that the price of each newbuild is $33.98m.

The previous newbuilding order by the Taiwanese shipowner was in December last year when it booked four 80,000-dwt bulkers, two each for construction at Namura Shipbuilding and Oshima Shipbuilding.
