VIDEO: Restricted to Ship – Finally leaving the shipyard

The fifth episode of YouTube documentary filmed by the crew of the President Wilson sees the containership finally leave the shipyard after months of being caught in Shanghai’s Covid lockdown.

The fifth episode Shipyard’s End starts on 16 May, Day 84 that the vessel had been in the yard. The video takes the viewer through the final stages of repair work on the vessel, and the challenges of request for crew change in Busan once it returns to service.

Following final checks the vessel sails from the shipyard to an offshore anchorage. View the video above to follow the final stages of the trials and tribulations of the vessel’s crew. Warning contains strong language.
