Hong Kong-based Wah Kwong Marine Transport is expanding fleet with two more Crown 63 plus bulk carriers to be constructed at SUMEC’s New Dayang shipyard.

The latest orders are the continuation of cooperation between Wah Kwong and SUMEC. The shipyard delivered four Crown63plus bulkers to Wah Kwong during August 2023 and January 2024.

Wah Kwong and SUMEC are engaged in the mid-size bulk carrier market, the newly exercised two bulk carriers will deepen our communications on vessel technology upgrading, said Wah Kwong.

Wah Kwong and SUMEC previously inked two Crown63plus vessels construction contract in April this year.
