The Chinese manufacturer Weihua Group has launched marine equipment production base in Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Located at Lvsi port area of Nantong port, Jiangsu Weihua Marine Heavy Industry has officially commenced operation. It is the first offshore equipment production base Weihua has invested in.

This intelligent high-end port equipment base will construct three 50,000 tonnes-class berths, serving for the production of port equipment, large-sized bridges, heavy steel structure and marine equipment. 

Construction started in March 2022, and the first phase project is put into operation while the second phase work is schedule for delivery in 2024, enabling the whole manufacture base to have an annual production value of RMB20 billion for port machinery and high-end offshore equipment. 

Weihua Group is the largest industrial cranes manufacturer and seller in China.
