Yangfan secures four boxship order from Haigang Shipping

Chinese shipbuilder Yangfan Group inked four 1,868 teu container ships order with Zhejiang Haigang Shipping.

The four vessels are in 171.95 m length, 27.5 m width and 14.3 m depth, equipped with advanced energy saving and high-perceptive system.

The contract signed with Zhejiang Haigang Shipping is the first order for the two parties, which will strengthen the position of the company in intelligent cargo vessel building market, said Yangfan.

Zhejiang Haigang Shipping is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port Group.

Yangfan, located at Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, currently has three shipbuilding subsidiaries, with a shipbuilding capacity of 2m dwt annually.
