Qingdao-based Headway Technology has been granted Approval in Principle (AiP) by classification society for s carbon capture system.

Headway Technology is one of the few carbon capture system suppliers worldwide which has obtained AiP from DNV.

The carbon capture and storage system developed by Headway is capable of autonomic computing and adjusting CO2 collection volume, meeting the latest IMO’s EEXI and CII decarbonization measures.

In addition, Headway can also provide customized layout design for models of carbon capture and storage system, and make the system to be used in various places of the vessel.

Headway set up carbon capture and storage research & development project in 2018. Now it is applying hyper-gravity technology, which features advantages of small size, low power consumption and convenient operation, said an engineer from Headway.
