Gulf ship repair specialist Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY) has begun work on a new landing craft being constructed for the Bahrain Coast Guard (BCG).

As part of a strategic realignment of its agent network Bahrain shipyard ASRY signed an exclusive agreement with Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders (SRS) for the UK market.

Companies including ABB, SOLAS and Seven Seas have invested over $3.7m in Onsite Specialist Contractors (OSCs) at Bahrain's Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (ASRY), with more investments in the pipeline.

Bahrain shipyard ASRY has announced a record-breaking first quarter revenue of $54m. The results surpass all previous Q1 revenues for the company since its inception in 1977.
