DP World has purchased the remaining 49% stake in its terminal at the Port of Southampton from Associated British Ports (ABP), making it the sole owner of the operation, as well as extending its license agreement until 2047.
Port operator DP World has handled 46.5m teu across its global portfolio of container terminals during the first nine months of this year, with volumes growing 3.2% year-on-year.
DP World has signed an agreement with Senegal to build a logistics free zone at Blaise Diagne International Airport, in the capital, Dakar.
