Qatari marine company Nakilat has outlined its vision to expand its business, and believes the organisation has a bright future despite challenging economic conditions. 

Milaha has announced net profits of QAR711m ($195.25m) for 2016, down on profits of QAR1.1bn reported the previous year. 

Qatari marine company Nakilat has announced net profits QAR955m ($262.3m) for 2016, compared to QAR984m in 2015 – a fall of 2.9%. 

Qatar Petroleum (QP), Total, Mitsubishi, ExxonMobil, and Höegh LNG have formed a consortium with Global Energy Infrastructure Limited to collaborate on a liquefied natural gas import project in Pakistan.

Milaha is “significantly expanding” its presence in global logistics with an agreement with DSV to become the Danish company’s exclusive agent in Qatar.

Qatar’s RasGas has delivered its 500th LNG cargo to CPC Corp in Taiwan.

Despite a tough business climate Qatar Navigation (Milaha) reported a 4% jump in next profit in 2015.
