Aegean Shipping books four oil tankers at Cosco yard

Greece’s Aegean Shipping Management has booked four new aframax oil tankers at China’s Cosco Zhoushan shipyard.

The113,000-dwt newbuildings are slated for delivery in 2018. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The latest shipbuilding order made by Aegean followed its last order since the delivery in 2014 of four MR eco-friendly tankers from Daesun Shipbuilding in South Korea.
