Michael Dell, founder and ceo of PC manufacturer Dell Corporation, has bought a 9.8% stake in StealthGas, now worth $35.47m.

Dell owns the share through his investment fund MSD Capital, which also sports investments in areas such as real estate and private equity. MSD now controls 3,494,636 StealthGas shares following its $33m investment earlier this month. With the buy, Dell joins the wealthiest shipping investors, with a $15.3bn fortune, slightly behind Scorpio Bulkers investor George Soros, at $19.2bn.
