GE Shipping purchases secondhand VLGC

Mumbai-based Great Eastern Shipping (GE Shipping) has entered into a deal to buy a secondhand 1996-built VLGC of 76,931 cu m.

The Japan-built ship is expected to be soon delivered to GE Shipping. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

GE Shipping said its current fleet stood at 32 vessels, comprising of 23 tankers and nine dry bulk carriers with an average age of 10.4 years aggregating 2.5m dwt.
