China Guangxi province’s first 300,000 dwt VLCC crude oil terminal at Qinzhou port has opening up for commercial operation.

The VLCC capacity berth is the largest crude oil terminal in Guangxi province, which is also a key project for the development of China’s New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

The oil terminal is able to accommodate one 300,000 dwt tanker and one 100,000 dwt tanker simultaneously, having a maximum annual handling capacity around 20m tons per year.

The terminal will greatly improve liquid cargo handling capacity of Guangxi and further reduce crude oil transportation costs in Beibu gulf region.
