Palmali buys chemical tanker and three bulkers

Turkey's Palmali has signed a memorandum of agreement to buy one chemical tanker and three bulk carriers from the secondhand market.

The secondhand ships comprise of the 3,456-dwt chemical tanker built in 2008 and three 6,097-dwt bulkers built in 2007 and 2008.

All four ships will be delivered to Palmali between 9-20 April 2014.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
