Scorpio tankers has firmed up two options for VLGCs at $75m each.

The 84,000 cu m LPG tankers will be built at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries and are expected to be delivered in early 2016.

The new additions bring the company's orderbook to 65 vessels; 28 MR tankers, 12 LR2 and 14 Handymax product tankers, and 11 VLGCs. In 2014 the company is scheduled to receive 44 vessels, with 19 following in 2015 and the most recent additions in 2016.

Scorpio Tankers' sister company Scorpio Bulkers recently announced its own ordering spree of 15 vessels at various chinese and Japanese yards.
