Wilhelmsen to manage Avenir LNG bunker tanker trio
Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) is to manage three LNG bunker tankers for Avenir LNG.

WSM is to manage the Avenir Achievement, Avenir Ascension and Avenir Aspiration previously managed by Hoegh LNG, one of the stakeholders in Avenir.
“The award to Wilhelmsen, one of the world’s top ship managers with global reach, represents a new milestone on our journey and we have full confidence in the added value they can deliver,” said Avenir LNG CEO Peter Mackey.
Avenir is a new customer for WSM and President and CEO Carl Schou said the LNG bunker tankers hold a pivotal position in the energy transition.
Olso-listed Avenir has five vessels on the water with the 20,000 cu metre Avenir Achievement the latest vessel to join its fleet.
