Chuanshan port records 100m teu container volume since 2004

The accumulated container throughput of Chuanshan container terminal of Ningbo-Zhoushan port has reached 100m teu.

Chuanshan port area, commenced operation in 2004, and has become the container terminal with the largest container handling capacity and the most transportation routes of Ningbo-Zhoushan port.

During 2017 and 2019, Chuanshan container terminal posted over 10m teu for three consecutive years, and became one of the few single container terminals globally to handle 10m teu containers.

Currently, Chuanshan port has ten container berths and another one under construction. It plays a crucial role in Belt and Road Initiative development.
