SIPG invests in China domestic terminal jv

Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG), Jiangsu Port Group and Huai’an Port set up joint venture terminal company servicing for Yangtze river delta region.

The newly established jv, SIPG (Huai’an) International Container Terminal, will provide strong support to river-to-sea combined transportation along Yangtze river from Huai’an port. 

These three parties will strengthen the connection between hub areas of Yangtze river delta, promote resources integration and port infrastructure construction and modern port development. 

Last December, Huai’an municipal government and SIPG entered into strategic cooperation framework agreement to develop Huai’an to be a river transportation hub for improving container shipping  locally.
