SITC International Holdings Company has placed an order for up to 12 feeder boxships from China’s Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.

SITC Shipowner has ordered three container vessels of 2,700 teu each at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding at a total price of $87.9m.

SITC has placed an order for two additional 2,400 teu containerships from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for $29m each or a total of $58m.
