The two VLCCs were built at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) in 2016 and DHT is acquiring them from an undisclosed seller.
The vessels are due to be delivered to DHT in the first half of 2021.
The acquisition will be financed by the shipowner from available liquidity and projected mortgage debt.
