China Merchants shells out US$232m for tanker pair

Beijing: China Merchants Energy Shipping Co Ltd said it has signed a US$232m order with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd for two oil tankers.
In a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, China Merchants said the two very large crude carriers displacing 300,000 deadweight tons are expected to be delivered in December 2010 and March 2011. [28/06/07]
