Kang takes over helm at STX Pan Ocean
Seoul: The chief of STX Pan Ocean has stood down to be replaced by STX Group chairman Duk Soo Kang.

In a statement to the Singapore Exchange the dual Singapore and Korea-listed company said 59-year old Jong Chul Lee had ceased to be ceo of STX Pan Ocean on 29 March due to expiry of service contract. He also did not seek reappointment as director of the shipping company.

STX Group chairman Kang is taking over the helm at STX Pan Ocean, who the shipowner’s board said had “demonstrated his outstanding abilities and competence as chairman of STX Pan Ocean”.
