Singapore: Holman Fenwick and Willan partner Simon Sloane has relocated from London to Singapore in order to spearhead expansion of the firm in the Republic and throughout the Asia Pacific region, working closely with other HFW offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Melbourne. South African-trained Sloane has more than 14 years of experience of the international insurance and reinsurance markets and has additionally worked as in-house consel in both the US and the UK. HFW already has 10 English qualified lawyers in Singapore where it has been active since 1991 in sectors including insurance and reinsurance as well as energy, ship and other asset finance, including finance of LNG vessels, port development and fuel transportation. [29/11/06]
