Hong Kong: Big changes are afoot at one of the world's newest container lines. Three-year-old Emirates Shipping Line has installed Capt Romi Kaushal as the new ceo. He takes over from Vikas Khan who will continue as a member of the board of Emirates Shipping Holding working on corporate strategy. 'The economic crisis of today is indeed of vast proportions which require extraordinary measures,' Emirates said in a release. Emirates is registered in Dubai Maritime City of UAE and commercially headquartered in Dubai and Hong Kong. [13/01/09]
