China’s logistics service providers China United Lines (CU Lines) and Antong Holding have established a strategic cooperation to jointly develop shipping service.

Antong Holdings and CU Lines, ranking top four and top five respectively in China’s container shipping market, are planning to promote international and domestic trading services, jointly develop long-term cooperation for shipping services to European and US.

Antong Holding focuses on domestic market, currently operates 56 inland trading services with a fleet of 84 vessels.

The fast-growing CU Lines currently runs a fleet of 29 vessels, having a total capacity of 76,860 teu. The company’s first new build vessel was delivered and put into operation in late May, a beginning of CU Lines to optimize and develop its own fleet.

The two parties are also seeking for new opportunities for collaborative service network development and strategic investments in shipping and logistics sectors.
