Wan Hai Lines is expanding its transpacific coverage with the introduction of a new service starting from 18 June.

The new weekly service connects Asia and East coast of North America, utilising 10 container vessels with a capacity of 2,800 teu-4,000 teu.

Port rotation for the new service is: Taipei-Xiamen-Shekou-Caimep-New York-Savannah-Taipei

Wan Hai said that the service would provide better transit time and service coverage to meet customers’ demands.

New service comes at time when freight rates on the transpacific trade are at record highs.
