The curtains are ready to rise on the 39th edition of CMA Shipping, the North America’s premier shipping industry event.

CMA Shipping returns 12 – 14 March as North America’s premier shipping industry event. Here, senior leaders and well-known personalities from some of shipping’s most prominent businesses will come together to find solutions, innovations, and connections amidst industry challenges, disruption to global trade, and ongoing ESG pressures.

Speaking ahead of this year’s event, Roy Bleiberg, ABS Vice President, Business Development, and CMA Shipping 2024 conference speaker, acknowledged the challenges facing the industry, but also the potential for those able to see past the disruption.

“Shipping’s capacity to transfer goods and materials is the foundation of modern life,” said Bleiberg.

“It is both an honor and a privilege to be part of an industry that is not only vital to global trade but also at the forefront of innovation and sustainability. I look forward to participating at CMA this year to discuss the megatrends that are shaping our industry and economic landscape. It becomes clear that while the challenges are formidable, so too are the opportunities for those who are prepared to adapt, innovate, and seize the moment,” added Bleiberg.

Bleiberg is one of over 115 conference speakers preparing to join the eagerly anticipated conference at CMA Shipping 2024. Delegates can expect to hear from ABS, Hapag-Lloyd, Panama Canal Authority, DNV, INTERTANKO, IBIA, Transparensea Fuels, d’Amico Group, BIMCO, U.S. Coast Guard, MSC Group and Dorian LPG over the three days and ahead of the ever-popular Commodores Debate, which will feature the 2024 Commodore, Michael D. Tusiani, Chairman Emeritus of Poten & Partners.

“Over the course of nearly four decades, CMA Shipping has earned a reputation as an essential event in the diary for many shipping professionals,” said Chris Morley, Group Director of Seatrade Maritime at Informa Markets.

“In order to ensure that this year’s edition of CMA Shipping continues to satisfy and deliver, we’ve once again worked in close collaboration with the CMA Board to create a conference and onsite experience that is truly reflective of current market requirements. We can’t wait to welcome new and returning attendees to this year’s event,” added Morley.

In addition to the conference, over 80 industry suppliers will line the Expo Hall of CMA Shipping 2024, offering attendees with an abundance of opportunity to meet with market leaders and emerging industry innovators.

Renowned for cultivating a dynamic environment rich with networking possibilities, CMA Shipping stands as a pinnacle event on the calendar for global shipping leaders and will return to Hilton Stamford, Connecticut, from 12-14 March 2024.
