Shanghai: Days after delivering its first ship built on Chinese soil Japan's Nakanishi Kikai Kogyosho has told the Kaiji Press it will start construction of another ship at another new Chinese jv yard this June. Yangzhou Nakanishi Shipyard will begin work on its first 29,200-dwt bulk carrier newbuilding on June 1. For the Osaka-based machinery builder, the yard represents the second major shipbuilding project in China along with Rihua Shipbuilding, which it founded in Nantong as a joint venture with Yahua Shipbuilding.
