Hong Kong: Averitt Express, a leading US freight transportation and supply chain management providers, has announced it has expanded its less-than-container load (LCL) service known as Asia-Memphis Express with two new origin points, Hong Kong and South China (Shenzhen/Yantian Port). The service, launched in July, focused on freight originating in Shanghai.
With the addition of Hong Kong and South China, Averitt now provides LCL service from four Asian points to any point in the U.S. "This next phase of expansion shows the continued demand for consistent, reliable LCL service from Asia," said Averitt's Vice President of International Development, Charlie McGee.Averitt's International customer service specialists constantly monitor each shipment and provide the exact location of Asia-Memphis cargo at any time.
