BigLift Shipping and Chung Yang Shipping will each contribute a pair of sister ships – BigLift Barentsz and BigLift Baffin, and CY Interocean I and CY Interocean II.
The two companies believe that their collaboration will allow them to meet the future demands in the LNG, oil and gas markets and the renewable energy market, as well as adhere to the highest QHSE standards.
The four vessels are all similar with respect to deck space. The combined fleet also offers more flexibility and availability to cater to more challenging heavy transport projects.
Both BigLift Shipping and Chung Yang Shipping will provide technical and operational support in the early stages of the projects, offering customers engineered and tailor-made solutions in the various project phases.
