Dalian: Cosco Dalian Shipyard has won contracts to build a pair of deck barges for a Chinese owner. Singapore-listed, majority shareholder, Cosco Corp said the contract for the two 15,000 dwt barges was worth over $12m. The name of the Chinese shipowner ordering the barges was not disclosed. The barges are due to be delivered in December this year and March 2011. [24/08/10]
