The heavylift arm of China’s Cosco Group recorded a profit of RMB191.78m ($31.31m) in the first three quarters ended 30 September 2014, as against a deficit of RMB42.79m in the previous corresponding period.
Shanghai-listed Coscol, however, registered a 3.2% year-on-year dip in revenue to RMB5.47bn.
Coscol attributed the rise in profit to stringent cost control and a more streamlined fleet.
