Hong Kong: Dry bulk firm Courage Marine is planning a second listing in Hong Kong, a move it deems will be beneficial for its business development in China. Courage Marine, which is already listed in Singapore, will be seeking shareholders approval for the proposed Hong Kong listing, it said in a statement on Monday. "The proposed Hong Kong listing will enhance the long-term growth prospects of the company and will therefore maximise the value of the company and its shares," it said. While Courage Marine has appointed the relevant parties to commence work for the proposed listing, it has yet to make any application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. As at December 2010, Courage Marine's fleet consist of one capesize, four panamax and four handysize dry bulk carriers, according to its website. [18/01/11]
