CSAV NORASIA announces new India-Europe service

Hong Kong: Ahead of the cancellation of its round the world service CSAV NORASIA is launching a new service that will provide direct access between India/ Middle East and Europe, with some of the fastest transit times between these important regions. On the eastbound leg of the service direct access from Europe to the Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, and India will offer customers an excellent alternative on this important trade route. The new service will be provided by six vessels of 2,800 teu and speed of 21 knots, all of which will be provided by CSAV NORASIA. Port rotation will be as follows: Jebel Ali, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Port Said, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Jeddah, Jebel Ali. The first sailing from Jebel Ali westbound will be CSAV Rio Loa, which will leave Mundra on 22 December, 2006.  [30/11/06]
