Shanghai: China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has set up China Shipping Shanghai Yangshan International Container Storage & Transportation earlier this week to expand its offerings to logistics services industry. The company is a joint venture established by CSCL and China Shipping Overseas Logistics Co, which is located in Linggang Logistics Area, Shanghai. The joint venture will operate an area of 197 acres, and is involved such as container loading and unloading, storage, container international transfer, container inter-modal transportation and storage. Currently, supporting facilities the company owned including a container yard of about 60,000 sq m, 80 reefer plugs, warehouse of 20,000 sq m, office of 4,050 sq m, and 3,000 sq m for container repairs and workshops.
