Seoul: Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering is to construct a state-of-the-art shipbuilding complex dedicated to building high value-added offshore plants like drillship, LNG-FPSO, FSRU, etc. ??To that end, DSME singed a contract on September 29th to buy a site of 661,000m^2 located in the Hadong Galsa Shipbuilding Industrial Complex, in the South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. ??DSME's major collaborative companies Oriental Precision & Engineering and Sunbo Industries are also set to acquire a site of 560,000m^2 and a site of 330,000m^2 respectively within the same shipbuilding complex.
