Dubai: MarineBiz TV - the world's first global maritime television channel- is scheduled for launch in Dubai next month. The channel will feature shows that cover both informative and educational as well as entertainment aspects of the Maritime World.
The channel will be launched in two phases, the first of which will cover maritime activity from Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe. MarineBiz TV will cover North and South America as part of the second phase. The channel already has a functional web TV section which allows viewers to access the shows online, particularly younger audiences who are internet savvy and often watch shows online.
MarineBiz TV will be officially launched, at Duabi's Crowne Plaza on May 7 and is to be accompanied by an awards function for various maritime video categories. [16/04/07]
